The middle design is definatly the strongest in my opinion. You're making good use of the space on the front. THe only thing I would think about changing is the colons on the Defining Intamacy, since they definition is not following but rather the words, a photo narrative. Maybe making the photo narrative a little bit bigger?
I like the covers from last week better. I like the last one best from this week. I think it works out. The second one is a little plain and a photo narrative needs to be bigger. Maybe the pics a little bit bigger too.
Of these 3 designs I think the second one is working best. Not sure about the alternating border frame colors around the images. The smaller images would pique my curiosity, and I'd be inclined to browse through the book to see if there were larger images.
I'm liking the first. Maybe create a border for the photo on the back cover. Or mix the second cover font with the third cover image of the hands. Try that. Generally I think the curvy font doesn't work because it's trite. Have you tried to black/white the first cover photo? You could add that to the back of cover 3 and change the font and see if it's working.
The second one is the strongest for me. I like that it is very simple yet you are giving us a preview of the pictures inside by haveing small clips of them at the bottom. The font is appropriate for the simplicity of the cover but I might play with where you put the "photo narrative" part. They are looking really good though.

ReplyDeleteI think I like the last cover best. I also like the first cover, I makes you more curious to see what's inside.

ReplyDeleteThese are so much stronger! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI can stand behind any of these, 1st and last designs especially.
The gray is just a little too gray for the middle one--maybe lighten it up a little.
Nice improvement!
